I’m glad so many people enjoyed Reggie and Alex’s little moment. I know a few people don’t like it but sometimes we don’t get what we want. I also know I will not be getting what I want this Saturday as the nation celebrates it’s 250th year. What lesson the universe might be trying to teach me specifically about that is, at present, beyond my capability to understand. In the now it simply seems like needless cruelty. Of course, if you believe in nothing then it means nothing and I’m simply a chemical process, in a long chain of chemical processes, that started for no reason, so many billions of years ago it’s impossible to truly comprehend. As an ongoing chemical reaction I certainly lack the capacity at any rate.

Anyway I need to stop now before I start thinking any deeper than I already am. I hope my fellow collections of chemical reactions will have a pleasant weekend. On Monday I will return with more of my subcreation. Until then I urge you to avoid being too close to any explosions that may take place.

This is, I think, the first time anyone else has seen Alex and Reggie kiss, and that’s the response?

Good for Nina and Carol!

And if the receiving table is in one piece after Thomas and Carol it’s sturdy enough for these two.

Actually I assumed Wes was going to see them, and Reggie would be stuck in an awkward position (as Wes doesn’t seem like the type to understand how beautiful Alex is.)

Wes was onboard the SS ReggieXMaddi, so I don’t think he’d intentionally give Reggie shit – but his crassness on the subject of women might offend Reggie pretty severely.

“I’ve turned my empire into a fuck palace!”
Hopefully Corporate never hears about any of this.

Honestly, Reggie’s whole character arc has been great. From universally-hated to having his co-workers/sorta-friends cheering him on as he gets with his woman? THAT’S growth ^_^

“Where is the stockroom?”

Taking the ball and running with it so hard you went past the goal posts, out the door, into the parking lot, and you’re halfway to the Starbucks by now.

Honestly as much as stockroom fun is fun.
I will hold out judgement as I am not the author of this fine work.
still, having sexy time on the clock at his place of employment seems entirely out of character for Reggie.
Dude seems to have a pretty strict honor code and work ethic.
I shall endeavor to make it through this weekend with all my digits in tact. but fate is fickle and explosions are fun.

This is one reason I’m sure he’ll take his lunch break for this. Doing it at work might be a bit transgressive for his tastes, but it’s just over the line, doing it while on the clock doesn’t feel like it would be close.

I’m sure Nina would happily get them some lunch so they don’t have to spend any of that time getting food.

I can see Reggie resisting being at work and worried about an audience, and the desire to make each time special among other things… however I can also see Alex (once the shock wears off) tying him up like a lunch basket and hauling him off to the stockroom on her back and eating him alive…

So I think Reggie’s biggest strength, and flaw, is that when he commits he does it with his whole being.
Sometimes that results in store display fires, sometimes that results in leaving his lady looking windswept and awestruck.
The former is unfortunate, the latter is amazing. I think Alex has the right kind of thoughtfulness to balance him and the right amount of the same energy to keep him on his toes.

I think Alex wasn’t expecting this kind of commitment from Reggie. And she was holding back for that reason. I do believe that wall got busted.

Library Girl looks way better without the bangs. I know its a self defense aspect of her character but I hope she grows past it.

Just one more to add kudos for Reggie’s character development, and will also add enjoying the natural merging, or at the very least overlapping, of the different friend groups that is taking place.
