And as a lover of a good joke at a jerk’s expense, the idea that John even hooks up with Victoria? Imagine the Reggie reaction. It would be fantastic. But if they start DATING!? I dont know that it works in the story, I’m not the writer, but as a reader that is great just for the memes.

There was a fursona conversation with John and Reggie at the meeting and I really hope John’s remembering it now.
That’s either a warning that Victoria will jump him like a cheetah after a gazelle, or that Maddison will potentially make a move. Though she does actually seem to see him as a friend now thanks to the ceremony.

Haha, well, they do say ‘don’t hate the player, hate the game’ after all :) “O tempora, o mores”… Plus there are ways of doing these things with some verve or style, which (ahem) SOME people aren’t capable of, at least on the available evidence… That said, it might be more noticeable with your characters, who actually have, y’know, character.
