I got a little behind today. My sleep schedule always shifts when I’m left alone for long periods of time so it has slid more to the morning, which is a time I generally don’t like being awake. I guess it’s not like I have anything important to say. I appreciate everyone who left comments about the discussion from yesterday. The evolution of language is always interesting since, much like humans, it is alive and changing all the time. I think in some other life I might have enjoyed being a linguist. I have some talent for languages since I tend to memorize things I hear. If I had known it was something you could become I might have tried for that instead of becoming a cartoonist. We are all a collection of might have beens if you think about it. Multiple branches of reality splitting off from choices we didn’t and did make in universes existing like layers above and below each other. Puts me in mind of a poem I wrote recently:

I’ll risk connecting my twitter to the page since most people have abandoned social media over the last few years. My feed has devolved into shitposting about toys and comic links so I only have a thousand and change’s worth of followers after the decline began. I’d just post the text but I don’t seem to have saved it outside of the JPEG.

Anyway, I’m over 30 minutes late posting at this point so I’ll leave you to your weekend. I have finally gotten around to disabling my Twitter account, given that I don’t want to give aid and comfort to the fascists. BlueSky, maybe? I have a Mastodon account which I stopped using as soon as I set it up. Tumblr??

Several other artists I follow have switched to Bluesky. It seems to be a lot like Twittex, but with a vastly lower shit to content ratio.

Can always plug it into Discord.
Fxtwitter, vxtwitter, fixupx, and any number of more colorfully named mirrors will embed it for viewing.

I will post it to Patreon when I put up this months pages and extras.

Well … that *is* a common “attachment point” for tails like that …

I read that as John getting a tail stuck IN his butt.
For a second I wondered if doing that is commonplace and this is just how dedicated furries are to their outfits.

Butt plugs with attached tails are definitely a thing, although I doubt furry cosplayers use them. (Unless they have some other fetishes which they hopefully practice in private.)

I still ship these two, although I also think John and Maddy would be surprisingly great together too.

I also find language fascinating. I took some language classes in school and I’ve picked up a smattering of Latin and Greek over the years. It’s handy to be able to make an educated guess at what an unfamiliar word means without having to look it up. Plus, other languages have some useful words and phrases that don’t really have an exact English equivalent. Oh, and fun cuss words too.
