I got a little behind today. My sleep schedule always shifts when I’m left alone for long periods of time so it has slid more to the morning, which is a time I generally don’t like being awake. I guess it’s not like I have anything important to say. I appreciate everyone who left comments about the discussion from yesterday. The evolution of language is always interesting since, much like humans, it is alive and changing all the time. I think in some other life I might have enjoyed being a linguist. I have some talent for languages since I tend to memorize things I hear. If I had known it was something you could become I might have tried for that instead of becoming a cartoonist. We are all a collection of might have beens if you think about it. Multiple branches of reality splitting off from choices we didn’t and did make in universes existing like layers above and below each other. Puts me in mind of a poem I wrote recently:

I’ll risk connecting my twitter to the page since most people have abandoned social media over the last few years. My feed has devolved into shitposting about toys and comic links so I only have a thousand and change’s worth of followers after the decline began. I’d just post the text but I don’t seem to have saved it outside of the JPEG.

Anyway, I’m over 30 minutes late posting at this point so I’ll leave you to your weekend.
