677 Weirding Way.

Okay, here, as they say, is the deal.  The site’s brain is still impaired.  I got the main page to a functional, readable state but, depending on what actions you choose to do, the style will change wildly and without warning.  All I can do is apologize and say I’m working on it, along with Fes.  Hopefully things will be back to something more like normal soon.

If you have any changes to the site you’d like me to consider now would be a good time to drop me an email, or what have you.

Site issues aside, if you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me say something about drawing avatars for followers.  I have decided to make it one of the services I extend to readers. (Like the desktop request thing that I have fallen behind on.)  Basically all you have to do is follow me on twitter.  (Or Facebook, Deviantart, FurAffinity, as long as I’m at it.)  If you send me an email with an image to work from I will make you a small avatar image.  It can be you, or a character of yours.  Obviously the face is going to be the important part, since Twitter avatars are very small.

If you want to add a few comments about what you’d like me to do you’re welcome to do so.  I make no promises about following them.  It’s first come first serve and you get what you get.  I’ll only work on them during downtimes, so there’s no telling how long it will be from the time you ask to the time I finish.  I don’t expect a flood of requests, since only a small percentage of people actually read the blog posts, and an even smaller percentage follow me on twitter.  It could, on some occasions, be minutes between you sending the email and getting the avatar.  It’ll be a mystery to everyone.

You’re welcome to contact me in whatever way you like if you know me on other sites.

Anyway, that’s about the size of things.  I look forward to your correspondences.

Hah! I was PREPARED for the White Screen of Blinding Whiteness this time!

Umm…

Text is a bit hard to read, on the green of the main page. Make it either darker or brighter, I think it’s in that limbo where it’s not bright enough to stand out but not quite dark enough to be easily distinguished either.

Also, hey cool avatars! I can’t wait to see what you come up with, maybe post some in the info section if it’s okay with the people you draw them for. I don’t have a request of my own, but it should be interesting.

Agreed about that green. Its just dark enough with the black text to make it extremely difficult to read on my blackberry, which I’m doing right now. Keep at it though dude. Its coming together.

Avatars! Once I’m in front of my pc therell be a request coming your way for sure. So kind of you to offer.

Eh, I got my avatar the good old-fashioned way. I paid someone to draw it for me. And it’s so cute I can’t resist keeping it.
And I couldn’t agree with Jolene more.

AAAAaaaahhhhhh…finally. I’m all caught up. Now I can sleep… The sleep of a champion who read 677 of something…in one sitting! Keep up the good work, Crave!

This comic, plus the fact that I devoured the archives about a month back got me doing some meta-thinking about the primary women of the strip. I’m a guy. I do that anyway, but I digress. You can construct a maiden/mother/crone trinary but it’s a little messy. Parent/adult/child is much simpler. Just saying the names they fall into place with a sharp “duh!”

Carol = Parent
Nina = Adult
Brooksie = Child

Maiden/mother/crone is messy (but only a little messy) because the roles and the physical builds don’t match the women they’re attached to.

Carol – Build: Mother Role: Crone
Nina – Build: Maiden Role: Mother
Brooksie: Build:Crone Role: Maiden

Time and character growth will no doubt blur this, but this where things are starting. We already see Brooksie taking on a little authority and Carol softening a bit by finally hooking up with Tom. There’s the whole “Mike” thing too.

I am amazed how many transformations Edward catalyzed that day just by showing up for work.

I don’t know if it is an error or not but when I come into this page to make comments my name and e-mail are already in the transcription fields. Which is kind of weird but also extremely handy for copy and paste into the comment fields. I love cacup! (Copy/All/Cut/Undo/Paste) not that it CAC’s-me-UP or anything …. ok ok bad joke bad joke.

More back to the point of brook.. that was awesome!~ flying tackle for a shirt. sounds like a gang war when I say it but this was cool. I don’t sympathize with Brooksie as much as some of the others but I have experienced those emotions before myself. Although my story has other twist’s to it. I still can’t get over Nina keeping upright in the face of a flying-waist-hug! This must happen often for her to be so practiced at neutralizing it.

Good luck with the site.

Maybe it was just my browser. As soon as I cleared all my browsing data it went away. Hmmph.~

ya, the mains browsersd i use(safari, ipod ttouch, and firefox, windowz) can be set to do thawtf (sorryz if itheres alot of typin mistakesd, after ghf helpun my CAP sqadron do a fly-in at the shelby nc airprt for 8 hours staindin od hot blacktopp thus nboth boilin and fryin my brain at the same time, tis tochsreeen keyboard becomes opretty hard 2 used)))

The page layout is so pretttty. Though I am having some troubles loading some things. It worked the first time.
I am like this with people sometimes. The scent of those I care about is very important and calming to me. <3
