Didn’t John describe to Alex that he’s had a three-way before and it ruined his friendship? So I imagine he may be wary of this sort of arrangement. (Yes I know they aren’t exactly the same don’t at me)

I think he said something like, you have to really trust the other person or be really close or something like that? So maybe he’d be wary in the very beginning, but communication is key and all that lol
