Wait, people who read this comic celebrate the death of another human being?
Was that a Howlin Mad Murphy reference? That guy was my favorite ShockJock back in the 80’s.
My guess would be Howlin’ Mad Murdoch of A-Team fame.
Turns out, based on a limited-scope Google search, both are based on General “Howlin’ Mad” Smith, a Marine general from World War II.
Hmm… Victoria certainly seems endeared? John being fun with people she cares about in a place she cares about? Hmmmmm?
I feel like I’ve been shipping them since they met lol
“Mr. Side Character” is an affectionate little nudge on Victoria’s part.
why’s Victoria lookin at me
She senses the depth of your sins.
eek! Vicky! Stop it! :D
THEY AIN’T THAT DEEP
I JUST LIKE PRETTY CARTOON GIRLS A LITTLE TOO MUCH
THAT’S ALL
Hee, hee, hee! :D
I’m usually here for the comic rather than the posts so I’d be indebted if a regular could fill me in: no post simply means “nothing to talk about today”, right? I’m so used to seeing text under the day’s panel that seeing nothing has me a little shaken.
There was a post here when it went up.
Original post was about a fairly famous figure that passed recently, but because they were a decidedly controversial figure towards the end of their life (one headline about their passing even used the word “Disgraced” to describe them), the post was removed – as it seems were comments related to it, as I definitely remember seeing a couple down here about it.
One of the best. RIP.
After literal years of on again off again reading this comic I have genuinely “caught up” and I simply cannot express my gratitude for your efforts. Thank you for the stimulation over the years as this has been (and will continue to be) an emotional rollercoaster. Weither laughing to the point of pain, or struggling to read through tears, this is profoundly great to read. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
