I wasn’t 100% sure I was going to come back to Carol and Thomas when I made the holiday page. After having time to think it over I felt like there needed to be a little bit more before cutting away. I wouldn’t normally have done it in the order I did because i don’t like breaking things up mid scene, but I was barely holding it together over the actual holiday days. I spent the weekend sleeping at weird times, getting nothing done, and being generally out of sorts. Today I got my act together enough to draw something more complex than people looking left or right at each other.
Anyway, I’m nearly ten minutes late posting so I’ll leave it there. I’ll see you on New Year’s eve with more adventures of fictional people. Until then, try to be memorable.

Jackie, don’t sell yourself short. Moments like these between Thomas and Carol are always appreciated. Though I am curious to see what direction you’ll be taking John after Maddison helped him gain a new perspective. (Hopefully a direction that leads to Victoria)

I’ve never pointed this out in the comic but there are multiple parks. One is on Main Street, one is near the library, and one is across town near a school. That isn’t even all the parks in town.
Sounds like Thomas and Carol need a map.
I think they’ll feel their way around.

Yeah, the trees aren’t even of the same type. Actually, I wanted to mention that these backgrounds are looking quite nice, and you deserve a little bit of appreciation for them. Those are some pretty pines!

The only thing missing is Reggie walking by and discovering them in the act. Then Reggie made a wise ass comment about Carol’s thigh (for example: calling her “Ye Old Thunder Thigh”) and ended with Carol demanding Reggie’s head.
