Reggies train of thought is Charlie Brown’s football and Alex is Lucy derailing it

Winning comment. I was gonna say something along the lines of “she used FLIRT and it was super effective! Reggie is Confused!”

Reggie hurt himself in his confusion. Although I know this is going somewhere.

He had a plan and Alex just bodied it.

No plan survives first contact with the enemy.
And Alex doesn’t believe in a “proportional response.”

That’s unfair. Alex is hard mode

I know Alex likely isn’t intending it that way, but y’know, as pickup lines go…

A: “Potentionally?”
R: “Like, for science?”
A: “Now that’s flirting!” (Clips bang back from eye.)

I wish she could go back to flirting with John instead of Reggie.

I just sat down! Who starts a conversation like that?

Too many of my friends are sci-fi nerds to be comfortable with DNA samples being mentioned.

Someone who needs a DNA sample and isn’t worried about being misinterpreted.

I guess that is similar to:

“Hey, my little pirate!
…How would you like, “a Jolly Roger”?

(You’d probably have to know some British slang, for my comment to make any sense. Whichever.)
