I might edit this page a little bit later, but this should suffice for now. I’ve actually done minor edits on a few recent pages that had to go out faster than I could make them. See if you can spot the changes!

The power went out for a few hours here and disrupted my flow a bit. Apart from that I have nothing much to report, so I’ll leave you to your weekend. Stay safe out there and come back to me on Monday. Until then, everybody cut loose.

I was wondering; does the store play (background) music (or muzak)? Sorry if it has come up before, but I can’t remember it being discussed or shown in the comic. Really like the portrayal of the characters ongoing development by the way.

The store does have mandated music, but Thomas keeps it down lower than the rules say. It only gets cranked up to the mandated levels if they have someone in the store checking things.

Muzak is a crime against humanity. What the hell were they thinking?

Of all the many many crimes against humanity going on around the world, I have to say Muzak is not very high on my list. …But I do have to admit it’s kind of an affront to good (musical) taste in most cases, especially when you are forced to endure it.

The reason/choice for Muzak (instead of Music) has probably something to do with the rights (and the money you have to pay for that) to play real music/songs in public?

For some reason, I’ve got David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” pegged as the background tune for this page…?

For me, it’s something a little more uptempo so they can really shake it. Like Maniac from Flashdance, or Rock This Town by the Stray Cats.

Ohhhh…. Rock this Town lends itself for *lots* of silly dancing without a care… :)

Good choice there… ;)

Chelsea Dagger is another good one… :)
