I’ve known at least seven sets of twins. While each person in these sets has their own distinct personality, I would have to say that if anything, they are less evil than the average person.

Yeah, “good twin/evil twin” is pretty much a fictional construct. It’s probably an extension of “good twin/bad twin”, which does happen in real life. (Where “bad” doesn’t necessarily mean “criminal”; it can mean “naughty” or “less competent” or whatever.)

At the risk of upsetting someone, I will say that it’s good to see a character like Edward; he has a temper and a violent streak, it’s a weakness he has, but he also uses that violent side for good, and loves and protects his sister (and I will assume, any woman in his life). He’s eternally patient with family but has zero tolerance for trouble-makers. Sometimes seems like we’re not allowed to have that kind of character anymore.

This is kind of related: Yeah, the “I will take no nonsense, + I will shut it down, if you do it around me”-type of character or hero, can be kind of [rare], right now.

Humphrey Bogart made a career of playing this kind of no-nonsense-type guys, in his Sam Spade [tm] films, + in other films like that.

(Sam Spade is a detective-type of guy.)
:D
