I never noticed before, but the way they can duck behind a counter, clerks shows form a modern day (and much less creepy) version of a puppet show.

HAHAHAHA! that is so something i would pull on one of my friends and visa versa… yes when you have real friends you can pull stuff like that without them killing you… attempting to kill you is another story all together…
I’m usually in John’s situation (stupid friends), but I don’t even get disturbed on those kind of jokes, I just flip off the other person and say “you’d love that, wouldn’t you?”
Upon reading this a third or fourth time I just realized that what Tom said here was a sorta backhanded compliment? The fact that he said “unfortunately I don’t swing that way” could at least be an implied as a measure of him acknowledging that John has potential traits that would be attractive in a partner. Then again he didn’t directly define who it was unfortunate for either.
I was gonna say that too! And I mean, John is super cute.
