that’s the thing, Thomas doesn’t know how much he does for others either lmao

Often he may not.

But remember that scene where Nina and Thomas talk about his input into hiring and how workers keep pairing off with each other, especially Nina and Ed. That could go into the column of “Thomas does know”.

It could have been “Heh … Maybe?”

Nah, there’s no question. “Maybe” with a period is as close as Thomas gets to actually admitting that he does care, that he does help in the background, and that he struggles to take credit for his good deeds. It’s true, and they both know it; he just can’t vocalize it because it would be breaking down some of the walls he built up when the previous MegaTainment crew got fired.

Haven’t done much, Thomas?

Ed’s settled into this job well and has a good romance going with Nina. At that age those two things happening from one change in life would be a big, big deal.

I’m a sound engineer. I often say, if anyone notices me at all, it means I’ve messed up.

You bet.

Background workers + support workers are 100% cool.

Elvis would’ve gone nowhere, without his band and support crew.

Have a good weekend all!

[Tbh- that’s a paraphrase of a quote by Gandhi. ]
