Ko-Fi.

Rather than making a long post, since I’m late posting because of a nap I required after a doctor visit, I’m going to point at the support links with an unusual level of fervor. I will also say that I added an “Estimate me at your peril” shirt to the shirt shop. It’s just text, but no one was clear about wanting anything other than that , so I just made it as words. Anyway, I hope your Wednesday was better than mine. On Friday we can compare notes and see if anything has improved for either of us. Until then, roll for initiative, monkeyboy.

Well…THAT will certainly provide some motivation! Haha

“It’s a special milkshake.”
“Is milkshake the metaphor we’re running with?”
“Metaphor? What do you m-”
“NOTHING!”

Seriously think Carol is half-flirting with Evrina, half flirting with Thomas.

…. why do I feel like this somehow ends with Thomas sitting in a chair in the corner of a room?

If I had to guess, you’ve spent too much time online and that has taught you many, many, incorrect things.

So no polyamory in this comic, or bisexual Carol?

Eh. I think Carol herself has stated that she is mostly straight. As have Nina. But then again there’s Jessie and Brooksie. If there’s potential for polyamory, it’d come from these two specific people, particularly Brooksie. Evrina is confirmed lesbian, Jessie thinks that Evrina is in denial of being bisexual but honestly it is likely confirmation bias/a desire to make people fit her own ideas.

Yup, and totally not because Evrina left her girlfriend to follow a guy across the state, or drew naughty sex comics featuring both men and women.

Honestly the sex comic thing could just be for the audience. But her abandoning everything for Ramon does show that even if she turns out to not be bisexual, he is very important to her.

Eh. Hm. Well. Leaving a potentially important romantic partner for an established important platonic partner? That happens more than people think and it doesn’t have to involve romantic feelings from the person doing the leaving. As for the art? There’s a famous actor who played a lot of straight roles but was always closeted gay; in fact, that did seem to be a more common thing back then; gays playing straight roles. Straight artists making gay smut/porn/comics. In universe, we have Nina who’s confirmed straight, though she writes a lot of gay/lesbian smut in her fanfics. If Jessie ever find out that Nina did erotic fanfics, she likely would assume that Nina is secretly bisexual and cause drama with Ed. But that is just my read of her characterization so far.

Evrina’s behavior towards the customer would strike me as unprofessional and inapproriate (Why does one word use “un-” and the other “in-“? English is weird. ;) ), but fortunately, nobody seems to mind. :)

waking up was hard today, i was so lost in a dream, i was back in college taking a philosophy exam, and it turned out it was fill in the blanks, and i knew nothing, then my alarm yanked me out of there blinking and so heavy with sleep still on me. i fear for the day.

“roll for initiative, monkeyboy.”
Is that, is that a Knights of the Dinner Table reference?

It is indeed.

:D I see so few of them, long time KotD fan. I sometimes worry its become a very niche thing when there used to be much more awareness of it.
Probably down to the death of Dragon magazine in part.

The gamers that founded that culture have been abandoned and maligned by the scum who took over the brand. Though our homeland is lost to us, and we wander the wastelands, we endure. We resist. We roll for initiative.

Ever consider doing a T-shirt with just the logo on it?

I had one many years ago, but only ever sold a couple. If you want one I can put it in the shop, but you need to specify which logo you mean since what you think of as the logo and what I do may not be the same thing.

I rolled a one and I forgot what to add for initiative if anything, so I’ll be hanging back with my bow&arrow and level 1 Cure Wounds. ?
