Could be a stylistic thing. It had been 10 years since we’ve seen some of these characters.

Perhaps the library has warmer lighting than Beary Fun does.

But Madison’s hair and skin look darker. Art evolves.

Unexpected.

As much as I love Victoria, the conversation was getting a big heavy. It’s wonderful to see Bridgette and Maddison again! (I admit I’d completely forgotten about the former.)

How old is the furry group in comparison to the Mega-tainment group?

The ages vary. The youngest character right now is Victoria at 18. The oldest is Patricia at 29. Not counting the various parents and whatnot. I don’t think anyone in the club is over 24, but I’m not 100% sure without actually looking to see if I wrote it down anywhere.

And now I’m imagining Battle Cat transforming into a robot, all Beast Wars style.

John is still into Victoria but has he seen Maddie in the Beary Fun outfit?

I’m also here for more about Bridgette and Maddie’s friendship. We haven’t seen them together since the OOtP meeting.

Jackie just said Victoria is 18. Maybe it’s best John not go down that path. He should stick with Alex.

A: Reggie is with Alex. So no, John should not stick with Alex.
B: Jackie also just said that the oldest character is Patricia at 29. He didn’t say how old John is, but even if John were 28, that’s only 10 years between him and Victoria. I know plenty of IRL married couples with more than 10 years age gap.

I think he’s 23 but I can’t remember for sure. He’s near the same age as Carol and Mike and they are 24.

Thanks. I thought I remembered him being close to their ages, but I couldn’t remember if he was slightly older or slightly younger. And I’ve got too many irons in the fire right now to binge-read the whole thing looking for clues.

Honestly the biggest takeaway here for me is that John apparently goes to Beary Fun alone to enjoy pizza. He didn’t even hesitate to sit down, so he’s not just picking up a pizza… he chose this place to spend his free time.

I have a suspicion that John went there looking for Victoria. Maybe he’s not quite ready to come right out and say that. But since she’s not there, he’ll keep Maddison company.

I wonder if Mike + Maddison would make a good couple?

I see Mike and Rulette together. He seems hesitant, but I think that’s just him overthinking it.
