I don’t know if there are any other webcomics where fat bitches get to be the sexually liberated love interests of main characters, but I know there’s this one. This page is particular wish fulfillment since the lard lass likes the barely socially competent dickhead. A lot of people think that Thomas is my self insert, but that’s not exactly accurate. Thomas is me at the top of my game. The best self I’d like to be. Reggie is much more the real me. It’s telling that even the best version of myself is still not that good of a person, but at this point what difference does it really make? I don’t get the girl with any version of myself other than these made up ones.
You might think it’s odd for Reggie to act like this having already had sex with Alex, but I assure you that embarrassment can be conditional. Saucy talk where other people can hear is embarrassing to him, much as it is with me. Except it has to be sincere. If it was meaningless banter it wouldn’t matter, but he’s genuinely invested and in his heart he knows that’s a point of attack. A weakness to be exploited. Once you begin to care you gain a vulnerability. Isn’t it amazing how so many things in life can have so many subtle layers of conditionality? It’s a wonder anyone manages to muddle through.

Anyway, I didn’t sleep well and also went outside two days in a row. I’m fading fast and there’s so much to do. I hope you enjoy my drawings of fake people today. I hope they make your life better in some way. Have a safe weekend so we can meet here again on Monday. Until then, head for the place you are meant to be, even if you don’t get there today.

Reggie? A main character?! I always considered him a side character.

Maybe back when the cast was much smaller and everything was just in the store. Think of it like this, Reggie was a side character in Season 1, but he’s changed over time and can easily be seen by casual readers as more than just a one-note character.

But John did appreciate Alex. Is there a specific comic where he rejected her directly.

John didn’t appreciate Alex at the very start. He strung her along to get information he wanted. He began to appreciate her the more he got to know her, but Reggie “beat him to the punch”, as it were.
It all worked out though, I am looking forward to see how he gels with Victoria.

Every character has to learn at least one lesson in order to grow. That was John’s. Even if the possibility of being with Alex is over, he might still find love yet.

I don’t think it’s over. John could get her back if he confesses.

Doubt it. Alex seems pretty happy with Reggie. Besides, this gives John a more likely chance to end up with Victoria and they always seemed to have better chemistry than John did with Alex. Not only that, but Alex knows Victoria might have feelings for him, she wouldn’t get in the way of anything for her friend.

Nah, John would have been endlessly condescended to and smilingly patronised past the point of tolerance… and he wouldn’t even have known. That would have made for extremely unsatisfying reading, for me at least. Reggie can at least appreciate he’s on the back foot the entire time and still get whatever he gets out of the relationship. Which is apparently ‘she’s a big girl and she’s rich, and both those things are A-OK with Reggie’.

There’s places on the Internet where being full of cards and frisky is very much a thing.

I didn’t realise much of a thing it was until I was directed to some reference material that featured this thing for some commission work. Which was eye-opening to put it mildly.

So now when I see some really huge people, I’m left wondering if it was on purpose rather than “snaccidental”.

I knew that when I bought the tickets (i.e. signed up for your Patreon). Of particular interest to me is the differing personalities and appearances you’ve given all your BBWs.

Heck, each of your characters is (in one or another way) attractive with some uniqueness. James is the most ordinary-looking sort here with a returnable presence in the story arcs.

Don’t worry, your fake people are pretty real to me. I look forward to seeing the crew here every week.

Also, Reggie is learning how thick thighs can save lives and I am here for it!

I definitely enjoy the amount of thicker characters in your comic as someone who has been dating a bigger girl for many years now. I’m also a “socially incompetent dickhead” by the way, so there’s always hope for you my friend.

I’ve said it before, and here again, when I read my 3 webcomics which I have been following for some 20 years, including this, the characters become part of life and friends. The line between webcomic and reality blurred. So, thank you for keeping it coming.

Jackie, every time you think about Reggie being like you, and not being a very good person, please remember that he’s my FAVORITE character. I’ve been reading this webcomic since 2009, and I’ve always loved the way you make the characters feel real and human. Their desires, their flaws, their methods and motivations. You do a splendid job, and I’m so happy that you’ve been able to keep going for so long. I’m excited to see where the story and the characters go next. But especially Reggie.
