Alex is feeling a little sassy after pestering Evrina. Seems like everyone is gonna get a little sass.

I spent the last couple of days, or three, or whatever, cleaning, sorting, and throwing away things I probably should have thrown away a long time ago, but still didn’t really want to. It doesn’t make for very exciting storytelling but it is what it is. It feels like I’m starting to make actual progress, but it’s difficult to balance cleaning and art I need to do.

Anyway, I hope your week starts off nice. I’ll catch up with you on Wednesday. Oh yeah, I should plug the links. You can use links here and there about the page to support my efforts. Anyway, until next time, play that doh.

Maybe Reggie wasn’t feeling anything for Carol cuz they were both kinda mean. Reggie moreso, imho. Too similar, lol

It’s nice to see his progress throughout the series:3

And man, I need to catch up on cleaning too. It’s not exciting storytelling, but I wouldn’t want the mess to reach “interesting” levels worthy of tales.

While intellect is certainly a component of one’s personality, it’s certainly also not the only one.

Carol is very far from stupid, but she’s got an aggressiveness and extroversion that is going to polarize people quickly unless she reigns it in like we saw when she first met Edward.

Alex for all her sassing and messing with Regina is more chill and reserved.

Reggie’s face in panel one is a hoot. And Alex’s intelligence is on full display here.

As for tidyness, I’m still catching up on my spring cleaning.

Oh I’d love to see Alex and Carol cosplay together, they could rope the others in too – Brooksie, Nina, Jess, Ed.. I feel like Mike would have so much fun cosplaying honestly

Cleaning up! Damn, now I really feel out of it. Over a week ago I made a tiny progress on having enough clear floorspace to walk in my office, but nothing since. There’s hardly enough bare space on my computer desk to move the mouse. It’s a disaster, and has been for at least a year.

Maybe it’s because I spend too much time reading & commenting on comics on the computer? Nah, must be something else.

“To Graves!?…Don’t be insane.”-(Paraphrased.)

IMO- Methinks the gentleman protests too much.

;D

Paraphrase is to render the same meaning with different words. That’s the same exact words he used so it’s just, like, a quote.

Personally I think that Reggie is being truthful though. He seems to have very specific interests in people, and he doesn’t seem the type to keep something like that secret.

You bet- I was making a joke about Reggie’s reaction. ;)

By the way, I think I used a form of the word, paraphrase, correctly, since the merriam-webster [dot] com site, a dictionary site, has the following as a definition of…the word…paraphrase: “a restatement of a text, passage, or work giving the meaning in another form”.

Cheers.

Sort of a weird take from Alex. Granted, she doesn’t know Carol all that well, but that’s why I find it strange she’s so quickly decided “Carol is really smart, like me.” I dunno, I don’t think she’s dumb, but I don’t think she’s as clever as the bookish librarian. She also has a brash personality and will, depending on her mood, tell you “Shut up, you’d dumb,” instead of Alex’s intelligent and playful banter. I feel like the venn diagram is only partially overlapping between these two, especially since Reggie doesn’t seem to care as much about physical type and so their matching bodytypes wouldn’t really factor in.

Several years ago went through an aggressive de-cluttering project. Every day when I came home from work I had to throw away at least one thing. Sometimes it was something big (massive CRT monitor that didn’t work anymore) while other times is was pretty small (packaging for some product I might not even have anymore) or sometimes it was whole box or bag of small stuff. After a couple months it was amazing how much more floor I had.

The one upside of moving regularly is you constantly go through your stuff, go “What the heck is this? I’m not wasting my time packing it,” and throwing the junk out. I’ve got most of my belongings to fit into a set of reusable totes and one footlocker, so I can move easily, so now I rarely buy anything because it won’t fit.
