I took my old PC and moved it from the prep table and into the old office. Which was where it was in the early days of the comic BTW. Mostly I needed it out of the way, but I decided to see if it would hook to a modern TV. It has an HD port, which I never used in the early days. Long story short, my PC exploded.
I kid. It actually worked just fine as soon as I turned it on. It remembered the settings from when I regularly used 2 screens and the HD was very clear. I have no particular reason to use the TV as a screen for the old PC, but it’s nice to know I can. It was grandma’s TV so it is pretty new and extremely large. My artwork looks nice on it. The Surface can cast to it, so I don’t need to use the PC to do that if I want to. It is a bit straining for the Surface to do it for a long time though.
Anyway, I’m late to post this so I’ll leave it there. Have a nice Wednesday. I’ll see you on Friday should fate allow it. Until then, “Danger is my trade”

Oh lord, I am of the first by accident. It is weird to see the comments section so empty. Very much digging the story arcs though. Couldn’t tell ya when I started but am all to happy to keep on reading and supportin.
Should fate allow? I have here an inspirational quote from a truly great man that seems fitting:
“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”
— Cave Johnson, founder and CEO of Aperture Science, in Portal 2
Cave Johnson is a marvel of unhinged brilliance. Like James Halliday if he were also a homicidal lunatic.
This feels quite connected to the earlier plotline featuring the graveyard. So it makes me wonder if there’s a surprise in store for the Boothe family.
There are LOTS of reasons to use a TV as a monitor! Not least of which is sheer size. It took some doing but I finally managed to figure out how to get a gaming PC working with a wireless Xbox controller. It DOES limit the games you can play, but man, having access to 7 Days to Die with all the mods? A thing of purest beauty.
Cue the Cool McCool in-jokes here.

Yes! “Let’s. Get. Dangerous!”
