I hope you got your set and it made you happy!
Ah, yes. I did. I was so busy thinking about other stuff I forgot to say anything about it. It was a thoughtful gift and more than I feel like I’ve earned. Thank you.
Someone needs to tell Reggie, then you continue to learn construction and not give up. One who is just CEO and doesn’t know the job is a terrible CEO.
The way he is he might not learn fast enough before he loses a body part.
One doesn’t need to DO the job to KNOW the job, though. Reggie demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge of construction during the ghost hunting thing, the issue is he is either too clumsy or not sufficiently careful to effectively apply that knowledge in practical applications.
He needs to know enough to be able to give effective orders, and he needs to have the trust of his workers so they will actually follow his orders. Neither of those things necessitates being able to use a nail gun himself, only that he can identify which jobs need a nail gun and which ones don’t, for example.
Garrett is the third Boothe to be leader of the family business, I think.
Reggie doesn’t know it yet but he has a handle on the integrity his father exudes and values.
The funny part about this is that Victoria would probably be a great construction foreman to carry on the Boothe legacy. She’s already crafty, doesn’t shy from major projects, knows how to integrate air-conditioning into a person-portable fursuit… The problem of course being that Dad Boothe is probably way too misogynistic to consider it.
Good point!
:D
From what little we’ve seen of papa boothe, he isn’t misogynistic. That said, there’s no guarantee that the other folks on the crew wouldn’t be
