I gotta get bloodwork done and in order to avoid paying 600$ for it I have to go at 9 AM. The irritating thing is that while most people could sleep through those hours I usually work at those times, so I have to be awake the entire time not being able to eat anything. And the thing is I can easily go way longer than that without eating, but when I’m commanded not to do something I can only think about doing that thing. I wonder if I could chew on crayons for a few hours since you can’t digest them and they won’t hurt you. I could just lick them and taste the colors. It’s such a minor problem but so disruptive to my vibe. Since I have to get my blood messed with constantly I can’t be trying to pay 600$ all the time though, so I gotta get in on the poor people deals. The rising costs of every fucking thing are really leaning over the line of being untenable. They’ve got their feet on the right side but everything else is leaning over the line menacingly. On top of that the Patreon exist surveys are getting so insanely grim. “Lost my job” “Can’t even afford a dollar” and so on and so on over and over. How long can regular people hold out against the greed of the elite? When they’ve finally been pushed too far, and the piper comes for his pay, I won’t have any sympathy for drug peddlers and politicians who finally get what they fucking deserve.

Was that too intense? I’m feeling a little sassy. Just being a little saucebox. My impudence is at high levels. Rabble! Rabble! Rabble!

Guh. I’m tired because I hurt my back and didn’t sleep very well. It was fine and then it wasn’t & I don’t know what I even did. I’ve done all of these various exercises for the last few months and I’m super mobile and stuff now, but I just keep doing something to my back that it absolutely hates. I dunno. If nothing else I’m looking forward to seeing the fireworks on the 4th. July 4th is kind of like a holiday that is just for mom and I because no one else in our family researches American history like we do. It’s not a drunken holiday for us but just discussing the things we’ve been reading and hanging out.

Anyway, I’ll leave you to your own devices now. Be careful if you celebrate with fireworks. Resist tyrannical government in honor of America! See you on Friday.

I’m pretty sure Mike is very carefully avoiding noticing anything. He’s not dumb and he’s not unobservant. And as long as it doesn’t get in the way of them doing their jobs, he’s going to continue to not notice.

Death of physical media, yeah it’s geting closer. One of the two major store chains in Finland has stopped carrying CDs at all, at least in my region, barely has any movies and even game shelves have shrunk to barely being there. The other chain has a shelf worth of CDs, all games fit on one side and none of it is PC.

Yeah, these aren’t fears Thomas need sow.

I still hold out hope that one day the video store could make a comeback, fueled by people sick of not being able to see what they want because “licenses” or because someone got their fee-fees hurt and edited a movie into oblivion because they don’t like how women are portrayed in it or something.

Where does one go to buy music these days? I don’t even know where to get current CDs. I wouldn’t even mind buying and downloading equivalent data. As long as I get to keep it.

(I’m in Canada, by the way; that will likely make a difference as to what’s available.)

At least in here Finland it is either a e-store or small independent stores specialising on those.
Probably the same deal over there in the land of Poutine.

Sometimes living your best life means watering the tree of liberty with your blood.

it really does feel like every time I sit down and go to look at improving my lot, the cost of improving it has gone up like 40% since the last time I checked. I don’t know how so many people are dealing with it without there being constant murmurs of revolution, but I do really wonder how long before the elite face the “eat the rich” reckoning
