Yep, that’s the first thing I thought of too.

I really really love the phrase “the universe nothings you”. That is some Pratchett-level word art there.

This reminds me of a sci-fi story, maybe by Bradbury.

Increasing entropy, that’s pretty much as far as the universe’s goals seem to go.

Hard to sy whether it tries to increase entropy or is doomed to increase entropy.
In order to survive, life creates entropy and sends it elsewhere. The expanding universe is a huge entropy sink, expanding to make more room for entropy. Is that a creator’s purpose in having the universe expand?

From my own observations about the Universe, it is indifferent to our individual success or failure, tho it does have a F*ked up sense of humor!

I just realized that “blog” rhymes with “frog”! :P

Huh Me and Joe have a very similar view of things. It’s not that the universe doesn’t care. It’s that the Universe Can’t care. It just is. Like an old clock It just keeps ticking along unconcerned with how willing you are for the time to go.

So. to the universe, every day is just another Tuesday?
