Since so many people seemed surprised by the abrupt actions of Reggie’s father in the previous page I edited the text to pin it down. I thought I had established the values of the Boothe family pretty solidly over the last handful of years but apparently not as much as I thought. Anyway, if you’re still confused after that I don’t know what more I can do. These people live in my head so maybe I’m just to close to be able to see the issue.

As far as this page goes since Jess & Evrina didn’t have a clean breakup, or at least one that didn’t solidly put their feelings in the grave, there’s still chemistry there that probably needs to be dealt with. Probably by people more emotionally mature than they are…

Hahaha I feel that, I’ve definitely had a couple relationships not feel like clean ends so theres emotion still there for a time afterward. Sometimes I wish I could have Thomas’ anger instead xD less confusing.

Jackie, it’s not that you haven’t put their family values out there. Not at all.

I think it’s a lot more that it comes in bots and bobs, spread out over quite a lot of story. Personally I have to do a yearly read-through to place the previous year’s story in context to the larger narrative. Integrate it to the paradigm, so to speak.

But it certainly doesn’t hurt to have some recap involved along the way to emphasize plot points.

In all honesty, you do it better than most webtoons I read. Like QC.

Sweetheart, no. You do not flirt with the ex in front of the current. Even to joke. 50 points from Gryffindor, or… whatever house Jess would be….. Slytherin?

Hufflepuff. Her big deal is wanting to break out and be someone who’s more in the limelight.

Sometimes it feels like some of the fans forget that there were more than two houses in Hogwarts, almost like they forget that it’s a school built out of hog warts. I’m not sure why. I mean, as far as I can tell, there isn’t any memory magic trying to keep us from remembering Hufflepuff or, or, or, um, the other one, while there definitely is global memory magic that’s been cast to block our recollection of that other thing, whatever it was that I was talking about.
