The problem isn’t doing the job, it’s surviving the day with people you wouldn’t normally want to be with. Personally I can’t do that at all. I’ve only ever worked at the back of stores. Where you don’t have to talk to anyone.
I’ve done both, and definitely preferred the back. Could never work register; I swear like a sailor and have zero tolerance for bullshit.
Me, I love bullshit. I soak it up and return it eightfold.
