1387 Scribbler.

These two. I made duplicates in Tomodachi Life of them and they are a real handful. Neil keeps dating girls and getting broken up with… and Evrina fell in love with Reggie. Reggie is also best friends with Brooksie… Who is in love with Ed. Basically my game has turned into an alternate dimension ship generator.

I saw some youtube videos for the new Minecraft Lego sets. I’m going to have to save all my pennies because I want to build all of them. Especially the Nether, which looks pretty much exactly how I envisioned it would in Lego. I’ve got till August to get ready for that, apparently. The guy who made the video complained about a lot of really dumb stuff, I thought. Like the fact that the bricks aren’t smooth. Well that’s dumb as fuck. It’s Lego. Anyway… They made a minifigure of Alex, who is the female skin in the PC version of the game. I’ve only played console, so I’ve never seen her in game. Only as toys and whatnot.
I’ve never actually finished Minecraft. Meaning I’ve never been to the end and fought the dragon. In my current games I can’t find the items you need to get there. although I haven’t played in at least a month since I’ve been busy. One of these days I’ll get there.

The new ebay drawing is Thomas. Link I’m guessing that the male characters are going to be the low end of the spectrum with these. Thomas has been pretty well liked, but it’s always harder to tell how popular the males are because people rarely say anything about them the way that they do with the girls. It makes me think that people are more conditioned to rate females more than males, but that’s just a guess. This drawing comes with the version I screwed up before I made the actual drawing. It’s off bad enough that I couldn’t see selling it, but not so bad that I wanted to pitch it. So It’s like a sad two fer.

I’m really interested in Splatoon for the WiiU, but I’m afraid that it’s just going to be a waste of money. Since I play at weird times and whatnot I can never play with friends. With Mario Kart 8 I pretty much end up playing alone, which is fine since the single player is good. I hope they release a demo that is for general audiences so I can at least get an idea of what the single player portion of the game is like.

I finally watched The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya the other night. I have to say it was really great. I hope they do something more with the series, although it seems shaky based on what I’ve been told and read. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t pick up the DVD sets when they were still available. Now their in that out of production limbo where people want $200 for a disc. Maybe someday I’ll find them on one of those greatest hits things like Big O, or Lucky Star.

“Get your ass back in that friend zone that I put you and stay there”.

“Friend zone” is a bit of a tricky concept. In some cases it’ss because one views the other as a sibling and dating would just be weird. In other cases the individual with the romantic intention (typically the guy) is nice and friendly and does all of the friend stuff expecting the relationship to become a romantic one on it’s own, instead of being direct and openly pushing the relationship in that direction. In the latter case, said individual gets all butthurt when the relationship doesn’t become romantic. Even moreso if they flat out get turned down. What really becomes problematic in that situation is when that individual additionally feels they are entitled to the romantic relationship as a reward for their actions as a good friend. This is a pretty toxic way of thinking.

Why not stick with the old term that covered both? “Unrequited love”

^ Couldn’t have said it better myself. The “friendzone” is kind of bullshit. Does it suck to want to make out with someone who doesn’t want to make out with you? Sure. Happens to all of us at some point. Does that person owe you makeouts just because you’re a good friend to them? Pfft. No. It’s not fair to vilify someone just because they don’t want to kiss someone who might like to kiss them.

Although, I wouldn’t have put “(typically the guy)” into that, because unrequited love happens to everyone.

that sad sad sad moment, you spent like 15 minutes drawing up a diagram then realize the post won’t do it properly T_T

Yeah you can’t get fancy in here. It mostly likes words.

If you use non-breaking spaces (Alt+0160 with a Num-Pad), you might be able to get it. Let’s see:

    4-space indent
        8-space indent

You might also be able to copy-paste them from MS Word. Test:

    4-space indent
        8-space indent

That’s only half the problem. The oher half is that the font isn’t monospace, something that used to be a given in textfiles, emails, and USENET. Without that alignment depends on the font, and that might differ by client or even font, as in you tell the browser to change the text size and nothing lines up any longer. Sometimes discussion vehicles like this let you turn it on with some tag or other, like code or tt for teletype.

What in the world can that be?
A cameo by Groot?

Oh…
Never mind.
It’s just an outside shot with a tree.

Looks good, Crave.

I know you’re not in the “anime scene”, so I’ll give you a very short summary: Bandai Entertainment was the company in America that had the rights to all three Haruhi, Lucky Star and Big-O. Bandai left the market a three years ago, hence leaving all their licenses up in limbo. Luckily, last year there were two companies that managed to grab a lot of the really big name stuff between them and they plan on re-releasing them soon.

Funimation has the rights to everything Haruhi sans the movie (which they might get eventually) and Lucky Star and Sentai Filmworks has the Big-O. So they will not be in Out Of Print limbo much longer. That said, we still haven’t heard much since the acquisitions, but Japanese companies are notoriously difficult to work with – especially those involved on these shows.

They are about 6 episodes into a new season of Haruhi Suzumiya that takes place under an alternative dimension similar to the world that was in the movie. I believe the title is
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
