I feel like Evrina would be shook to realize that basically the entirety of their customer base knows each other closely. I’m sure there are other customers, but like.. her ex and her new gf, the exs brother and his gf – a friend from childhood, the comic store owner from up the street who is a childhood friend of the boyfriend of the woman who’s tits shes going to think about at night, her childhood friend and her new boyfriend who is the brother of another friend of their’s – also that friend might end up dating the guy who her friend wanted to date but ended up with her brother instead.. the fact that nearly all of those people work together.. i easily could have made that much more easy to understand, but not doing so made it funnier. anyway i feel like she needs to end up being mike’s 1/2 niece by marriage or something lol. i think he’s the only one somehow not involved

Growing up near a town of 500 people I thought everybody knowing everyone else was normal. In my adult years I lived and worked in a small city of around 12,000. It wasn’t much different. All the locals knew each other. Even after living there for 20 years we weren’t “from there”. Working at the local psychiatric hospital you had to be careful in hiring and assigning people to the various jobs so that nobody was supervising a close relative.
