I have 3 cavities! What kind of middle school BS is that? Cavities are expensive when you’re an adult… Now I gots to work to fix muh teefs… I keep my teefs clean. Why am have cavity? Life unfair for simple neandertal.

I can’t decide if Jess saying “As you wish” is her parroting Westley from “Princess Bride” or not.
I’m going to choose that it is…. mostly because she’d know Brooksie would like that.

No one ever gives me uppies. My cavities are mostly failure to floss effectively before bedtime.

I would ask, and get- piggy back rides, + random carries…from people, until I was about 11-12 years old.
People stopped carrying me at 11, since- I had a growth spurt then, + that growth spurt gave me the height…and maybe also the imposing silhouette, of the actor- Mr. Vin Diesel.
[Vin Diesel is about- 5 foot ten, folks].
After that, my requests of- please-carry-me-like-a-little-anime-kid, went unheeded.

I got several adult cavities that my dentist simply said, “you were always going to get there, no matter what you did.”
Cavities are caused by a specific kind of bacteria that can be spread through saliva.
My dentist once told me they are the same bacteria that anchor cholesterol to artery walls and cause heart attacks. So keep your teeth clean to live longer.
Sadly, cavities are largely genetic. My dad is the most obsessive person I know about dental hygiene, and he gets one every 6 months like clockwork. Meanwhile my mom’s first husband was from the backwoods of the backwoods, a place so deep in the forest no light reached it, and literally did not brush his teeth his entire life as his family did not believe in such highfalutin concepts, and he had a perfect set of beautiful pearly whites. Oh, and he ate Big Macs about as often as the POTUS, so it’s not even like he was crazy healthy or anything either. Some people have all the luck.
Also, I know Brooksie acts a little childish, but this behavior right before they go home and probably bone gives me weird vibes. This is not a criticism of the comic, it’s just something I’d find off-putting if I actually saw it happen.
“Uppies!” is how I encourage my cat to jump up on the couch or bed with me. And my cat is almost as cute as Brooksie.
