I have ten minutes to write something before the page will auto post with nothing under it. The pressure, as they say, is on.

It’s hard to believe it’s Thursday already. I kept thinking it was Tuesday and was wondering why so much of the food was gone for the week. Now that I sit here realizing I’m off by two days it makes sense.

I don’t really have a lot to say that’s interesting because I’ve mostly been either drawing for money or moving things around the house when I’m not drawing the comic related stuff. I need to go downstairs and sort all the stuff I want to sell off so I can move things down there that won’t be living upstairs in the future. I also need to put a more comfortable chair down there so I can sit and not be miserable the entire time. We don’t actually have many good chairs left. I almost never sit it chairs. Haven’t for years now. I sit cross legged on the floor almost exclusively. Which is probably why I maintained my mobility better than if I was sitting in chairs because being forced to hoist my entire self off the floor every time I need to go anywhere kept me from getting too weak to move myself.

Oh, looks like the post went live and I wasn’t done. I guess I’ll just sign off for the weekend. It’s not like I was saying anything important anyway. I hope you have a nice weekend. Stay safe and meet me back here on Monday, okay? Until then, buy some DLC if you want to. As a treat.

I doubt that very much.

I don’t have Disney so I haven’t seen anything new from them in at least a year. Someday I’ll dip in for a month or something when I’m not paying off medical bills.

Or you could enjoy the magic and wonder of Digital Piracy! Just imagine, all the shows you could want to watch without paying for a streaming service! Just be aware that this magic is not without risk, for you must be careful your devices don’t become infected!

I can’t afford to lose my system if something goes wrong and don’t have enough money to maintain older hardware for that specific purpose. Even piracy can get pretty expensive when things go wrong.

…I admit, my own fondness for pizza has dulled over the years. Even the texture is starting to annoy me. It does not help that we have few options for it outside of the corporate overlords.

I still enjoy a number of frozen grocery, family restaurant, and corporate chain locations.
Unfortunatelely, red sauce’s acidity guarantees a day or two of gastric consequences if I indulge.

If I overdo it on commercial processed tomato products I am apt to run into that same issue.

A lot of it comes down to canned/processed goods needing extra acidity for preservation.

A way to mitigate that is making the sauces and soups yourself from fresh ingredients, or adding a little bit of food grade baking soda to any canned ingredients.

Small handful of sugar can cut down on acidity. I’ve also read that fire roasted tomato products are less acidic but have not verified.

[ I think Mel Brooks said- it’s a sequel to SB, but- it doesn’t really talk about the events of the first Spaceballs film, very much. The SB characters, like Dark Helmet, President Scroob, + [the son of Brave Starr?], nd others, are in it, However.] :)
