This Post Will Confuse People.

The blog under the blog has always accidentally caught people by surprise. It’s original purpose was to present information on the homepage that wasn’t time sensitive. The rise of social media kind of made it superfluous, but now social media is falling away & the secondary blog seems like It might actually become useful again since Twitter isn’t the powerhouse it was half a decade ago. At this moment I’m just making this post so that the big image posts won’t appear on every comic page. It’ll just be easy to load text. Job done. Now I can go about doing some other stuff I need to do.

Good idea. I was going back and looking at old comics, and the ones that ended a very long time ago you can see what was going on with the posts below the comic. A lot of the ones that are in the Twitter era, you have no idea what was going on because it was on another website intermixed with a bunch of other crud. I try to avoid twitter whenever possible now.

The blogception begins.

Hello darkness my old frien …wait. Why are you running? Come baaack.
Dang it that’s the the third darkness this week, any more start running from me I’m going to have to hire out as an exorcist.

Darkness may slink or scamper away but there is always floor ready to support you and catch you when you fall down. Ah floor, always there to stop your headlong plummet into the abyss.

Twitter and FaceBook are trying hard to get that social media legislation passed to help ensure they stick around forever. Any claims that them (or Google) are against it are blatant lies. Any complaints about the proposed legislation is briar-patching.

“I’m living on the air in Cincinnati… Cincinnati, WKRP.”

Bailey>Jennifer I said what I said.

I went back to the beginning of Reggie’s conversation with Alex, just after his encounter with Maddison, and read through today.

The story progresses so slowly that sometimes I forget how good it is. I have to go back and read a chunk to remember what it felt like to encounter it for the first time and have a backlog to catch up on.

Good job.

Technically I write for the archive. It’s much better to read the story after several pages in a row. The nature of monetization on the internet makes it so you have to try to get people to come every day, but what I make doesn’t work as well that way. I try to make each page feel like it has an emotional end point though. Since services like patreon exist now I don’t have to shill daily reading as much. The problem is that people will often forget a thing if they don’t see it all the time. So it’s a difficult balance to maintain.

My great-grandmother passed away and we spread her ashes from a bridge in 1996. I was lucky enough to be right behind my mother, out of a group of about 12 and we & my uncle were the last 3 in line. I cant remember who opened the ashes but a sudden gust of wind sent it straight into my mom & uncles’ mouths. Yes consider the wind.

The more I see of Evrina, the more it feels like she’s embracing a “Temptation”/”Devil’s Advocate” kind of persona, possibly as a counter balance to Ramon’s saintliness.

As I was reading your post under the comic, it made me think about how we deal with injustice. Whether you work in an office, or in retail, or just about anywhere, professionally there are things that come up that we are powerless to deal with. At least as employees and not self employed. That feeling of powerlessness when someone pulls something that(not to be too dramatic) is to some extent, evil. As someone with a strong sense of justice, I live for those moments where justice is served, even in some small way. Probably the most satisfying moment in wanted(that rather terrible James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie movie) is when McAvoys character rips into his former manager and smacks his a-hole of a former coworker with a keyboard. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t lived vicariously through moments like that where even in fiction, SOMEBODY gets to live out those moments.
