Fanart Time Again.
KB of Olympic Dames drew this for some website that I can’t be bothered to look up. The premise is that her character Dani is trying to scare Jo. Dani can fly, so that’s pretty easy. Having one of your characters surprise someone else’s was the theme of whatever contest this came from, so it all makes sense.
She just drew Mike randomly here, as far as I know. It’s nice that he got a little love.

Actually, KB did an awesome job. Clearly, these are re-imaginings of the characters we know and love (T.G. she didn’t do Reggie or Wesley, or I’d have to find a P.C. way to rephrase that). They are not only recognizable, they have a touch of realism that would be difficult to maintain with a regular strip schedule — and a beast to ink.
So if you decide to take a week off for a much-needed vacation, or to attend a Con or something, KB could do a guest strip or two. I’m just sayin’…
