830 Misfire.

Went to Garden on Wednesday. My teeth are fine. Finally saw the Young Justice toys. Well… Auqalad and Kid Flash anyway. None of the other guys I’ve been looking for were around. Apparently there isn’t a normal Green lantern anywhere in half of Colorado or Kansas. I even saw some ones that looked like chase figures on the pegs, but no regular GL. Wild.

I found a used copy of The Godfather for the 360, a game I played through twice on the PS2. I’m gonna give it a go on the Xbox because there’s extra content to be had and achievements. There’s a chance it will be the only game I ever get 100% completion on because the requirements all look to be reasonable things to do, rather than busywork bullshit. Guess we’ll see.

I also found a copy of Sneak King for the 360. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it Sneak King was a game made for the original Xbox sold, or maybe given away, at Burger King to promote their food and enhance their insane marketing campaign. You know, the one with the creepy plastic headed king. I’ve always heard that it was a decent game for being what it is, and it’s true. It’s weirdly well made. Not perfect by any stretch, but oddly entertaining. It’s almost like a Metal Gear game except Snake is obsessed with feeding people processed meats instead of killing them. It’s amusing if nothing else.

Damn! What a situation!

I think one of the reasons I like this comic far more than any others (that have relationships and stuff) is stuff like this. I could actually see this happening to me, and I have NO IDEA what I’d do. Obviously I would stay loyal to Carol and not dwell on what could have been (as best I could). Even so, that’s just one of those things that I’d rather never have found out.

This reminds me of manga in one of Mitsuru Adachi’s anthologies. Guy went to high school with a girl who never got up the guts to tell him how she felt. Years later at a reunion they meet up and he realizes she liked him but he already has a new love.
