Edward is indeed awesome. However! it helps that Carol isn’t as sharp as I suspect she could be. He’s gettin’ the baby steps treatment.
Edward is awesome……..thats all I wanted to say
Yes, this is a classic scenario in which I have participated many times, me being Carol Graves. When you’re a master of the UBER-SCARY VILLAIN VOICE technique, as I and Carol are, you begin to think that people know you’re messing with them, and it is one of the easiest things in the world to push your victim over the edge, at which point they will reverse it on you, and it takes a long time to repair the damage. I still haven’t repaired my relationship with $#&%@…..
… But she has huge knockers.
That makes everything she does forgivable… almost.
[Well... so did my ex-girlfriend. I've just disproven my own theory within seconds.]
No… boobs are always win and I have used the horribley scary Ed voice in my own work place to maximum effect!
Damn… I sort of respect Edward more now, but… I can’t help but feel bad for Graves ._.
Graves had that coming, I think. There’s really no need for all that sass she’s pulling.
First time I saw this, I was sure Ed was going to make her cry by going overboard or something.
Now, I only think she deserves a good spanking for making him that mad.
If anything, Ed’s at fault here. I mean, she is too since she immediately backed down and freaked out at the first sign the guy was taking himself too seriously (therefore encouraging him to shove the stick further up his butt), but the way I see it, Ed needs to learn to take a joke and/or laugh off the abuse. Seriously.
As of right now, this scene is making me lose respect for both characters. Ed needs to calm down, and she needs to either push the abuse or laugh in the face of his ridiculous “righteous anger”. He’s put up with like 10 minutes of ridicule so far. If he really can’t deal with that, I (personally) can’t see him as being friend-worthy anyway.
And of course there’s the option of smiling, saying something along the lines of “hey, look, I’ll lay off, but you need to nut up.”
