Finally got the ghost sent to the other side in Trace Memory.  It was a good game, and I enjoyed playing it for a while, but I’m glad I never have to touch it again.  That said, I’m looking forward to the sequel.  I hope there’s a ghost in it too.

A long while back I got the first Phoenix Wright game for the DS.  Partly because I got to play a demo and partly because I wanted to understand the myriad references to it that have infiltrated net culture.  I played it halfway to the end and stopped, as I often do with games.  Eventually I finished it.  While I was finishing it I found the last game in the series on clearance.  I could never find the second one though.  So I’m unable to play this game I’ve had for quite some time now.  Well, not unable…  Unwilling to play it until I find and complete the second game.  The price gouging bastards who have it on Amazon.com want your first born for it.  I liked the first one, but not enough to give up any theoretical children for the sequel.  So begins my quest.

There are rules I hold to when searching for old games.  Never pay more than half its original price.  Never get one without complete box and anything else it came with.  Never feed it after midnight.  These rules, much like the pirate’s code, are not so much rules as guidelines.  There are times when they are simply too unreasonable.  Anything that shipped in a paper box is unlikely to be resold with one.  I see no reason why an old DS game shouldn’t have an intact case though.  They come in very nice cases.

As Amazon is clearly not the place to find used games I must find new places to search.  It is at times like these the scattershot nature of trying to do anything on the internet is thrown into stark contrast.  It is an untidy place, filled with sites that simply aggregate the knowledge of others, over and over again; creating an ouroboros of fail.  (in an unrelated note, it’s sad that my spellcheck doesn’t think ouroboros is a word.  It doesn’t even appear in my digital dictionary.)

damn it. read all the way to the end again. how depressing.. it’s like .. I have to know what’s next *sigh*

J.T. – Heh heh, sorry kiddo, I’m making them as fast as I can.

I know I’ve seen some Phoenix Wright games in the GameStop close to where I live. I can stop in and see if they have what you’re looking for tomorrow on my way through town. Maybe have it shipped to you? Hell, I could probably buy it and mail it to you if they have it =] Let me know.

The fact that Brooksie is protesting being weird just makes her even cuter.

And Rena three updates a week is way more that most webcomics produce. He’s doing the best he can.

I understand your pain on about the phoenix wright games. I bought the second one first… then while I was getting the third one, I ended up getting it twice because one of the cases was mislabeled. I did get the first one a couple months later though… Yeah, so I played them in the order of 2, 3, 1…. That said… I think the first one is the better of the trilogy.

Why did I hear the “We’re a couple of misfits…” song, or the theme from the ‘Island of Misfit Toys’ when I read this ? ;)

>.> Yeah I know.. I wasn’t being serious it was more like “oh crap. guess I’m done reading for the night what a shame” The ending came as a suprise..

oh hey J.T by the way >.> this is Bubbles3990 from DA too hah
