The internet is always an adventure.  Recently I’ve been getting random viruses from formerly trusted sites.  Nothing catastrophic…  yet.  The battle is ongoing however.  The forces of light and darkness continue doing their little dance.  A dance that annoys me to no end.

I had a nice Thanksgiving, in case any of you wondered.  I suppose since I didn’t say anything about it sooner you probably figured that out.  No news, as they say, is good news.

I’ve heard the year’s first Christmas song perverted to help sell something, so the season of giving must now, truly, be upon us.  My quest will be, as it has been for years, to hear as little Christmas music as possible until the actual day.  Also to find, and eventually kill, Mannheim Steamroller.

It’s quite possible that you’re getting the viruses from the advertisements specifically. Recently one of the big advertisers got compromised and their flash ads now contain malicious coding. If you’re using Firefox, use Noscript and Ad-block to help keep yourself safe.

I understand that Chip Davis, the power & drive behind Mannheim Steamroller, lives in or near Kansas City.

You may now take what action you will, but I’m innocent & am no longer involved in your scheme, which is sadly far too late already.

@Keybolt – There’s one other, but I’m not sure if either of them should be called gems. The site where it is is down, so I can’t link it.
