1459 Cat And Mousey.

I like all my characters, even the shots, like Wes, for various reasons. With Jessica it’s because she has very few fucks to give in a metaphorical sense, but a lot to give in a literal sense. She’s like Thomas in a lot of ways, except that she’s not as motivated by fear. She manipulates people for fun, and without malice. In that way she is very catlike. Her life is a lot of weaving between legs and knocking shit off of shelves, just because it’s there. She runs hot and cold on her own terms, and you’re just as likely to get the claws because she’s mad for you as you are if she’s mad at you. If I had to pin it down right now I’d say she’s chaotic neutral. Her motivation is almost always pleasure and she derives pleasure in many ways. Whatever regrets she may have they are not because she was unwilling to try something. It would be very hard to be with her but the ride would be a lot of fun and very rewarding.

I’ve been training amiibos while I work. Now that I have the NFC reader I can use my 3DS, so I don’t have to worry about overusing the WiiU. My Mia amiibo are Nina, Reggie, and Jo. They’ve been trained by my other level 50 amiibo. Reggie doesn’t seem to have learned to fight correctly. He’s a gunner but he always tries to punch his way to victory. I’m not sure what to do about that. Nina and Jo can consistently defeat Little Mac, Fox, and Duck Hunt, who are my best regular amiibo. Reggie just hops around and tries to pistol whip them. Can an amiibo still learn after it’s reached level 50? He was actually more successful when he was at level 30 and still shot his gun. I wonder what the heck I did…

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the red ears.

What is that? Like 25Watts of blush? That’s more wattage than some houses have for security lighting. Stick by her and no more stubbed toes in the dark!!

I like the concept of Jess’s life being “a lot of weaving between legs and knocking shit off of shelves, just because it’s there.” That’s great. XD

Well, I’ve adopted and lived–and still live to this day–with a good number of feline friends. One of the most relevant lessons learned:

You weave between legs, and you either get stepped on, or you bring the giant stumbling down upon you.

Or kicked, as my beastie has all too often found out. Of course he still does it, because he has the dumb.

“…..because he has the dumb.” Couldn’t be because of head trauma. Totally know know what you mean, though.

Well, it might be brain damage, he was adopted as an adult. It would explain his terrible balance, distance gauging, and tail chasing.

Amiibos still learn after level 50, I find mirror matching amiibos makes them learn good habits. But, fight them like you would a smoother player or another computer don’t spam one move in hopes of it only using that move.

While it’s been proven that amiibos do indeed continue to learn after level 50, their habits and patterns don’t actually change all that much. What they learn early paints a lot of the picture of what they become. Usually. Gotta remember that they learn by adapting, so strong opponents help teach them better. If someone guards, they grab. Stuff like that.

I recently acquired several new additions to my amiibo collection and starting trying new training methods with some fairly positive results.

One method I’m eager to learn about is what happens if you pit two level 1’s against each other until they hit the cap. Either they become warring gods or they’ll suck so bad I’ll have to reset them.

“she has very few fucks to give in a metaphorical sense, but a lot to give in a literal sense” … you, sir, have a delightful way with words.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but: I think Jackie, on twitter, has asked: “What cartoon character do I remind you of?”

Just off the top of my head, I’d say that Jackie reminds me of [Julia King], from The webcomic: Order of The Black Dog, by Immelman.
Meaning: Jackie, like Julia, seems to be: a very clever + quick-witted guy or person, who very much likes to try new things, and has an attitude of- to blazes with anybody who thinks my cleverness + creativity is bothersome to them.

That’s the cartoon character that I see that kinda closely matches Jackie. :D

For those who are interested in who Julia King is- “The Order of the Black dog is on this site:

orderoftheblackdog [dot] com .

I may being a bit picky, but aren’t Jo’s eyes different colors normally or is this a case of contacts? In some comics she has heterochromia and in others she doesn’t.

Yes. A childhood injury left her with heterochromia. She hides it with contacts (and blue hair helps to distract from other perceived shortcomings.)

I thought the blue was to hide the fact that her natural hair colour is a skunk pattern stemming from that same incident. If she was going to get attention for an odd colouration, she might as well run with it and choose her own.
