Yeah I wish they had more Dinos Legos, but when I was a kid I settle for regular toy dinos and had them destroy Lego houses and eat people. The imagine X Dino toy line or something to that degree where my favorite Dino toys as a kid.

It’s a common feeling

Sad but true – we need science Olympics and world cups!
The scientists and engineers* who actually make life better for all of us should have as much adoration and $ as rock and sports stars.
*Bias disclaimer: I’m an engineer ;-)

–> No one: they do, it’s called Robo-Wars, and the big one is called the Nobel prize, you get a medal and everything! But being serious, now, you are correct. Bodies in motion, competing is a great thing. Minds, exercising, creating, competing is a great thing, esp. In teams! You Do have the right of it.
–>Jackie: No, I am WWwaaaayyy-hyper sensitive with my skin, I feel centered in my body because my body sensations draw my attention out of my head so much. I feel like my Center of Gravity-Like-Awareness is centered about heart or belly. My feet draw a lot of awareness down, and my arms more. I CANNOT abide my wrists being touched by shirt sleeves, so short sleeves all year round.

LOL – things are looking up. I’m volunteering to mentor at Highschool robotics club, and they do have competitions, so Nobel price is no longer only game in town :-D

Compare the TV ratings of college and pro football to every science/math related show on every available cable channel. It’s no contest. Advertisers go where they can have the biggest audience for their commercials, and that’s movies and sports. Is it “right?” No, but it’s real.

Oh I did not mean it was not real Duffer – I just wished peoples priorities were wiser. An added bonus for sport advertising: A fool and his money are soon parted }:-)

Sorry you are feeling down, health issues and pain does that.
Might be a good idea to see a therapist and learn some coping strategies.
I learned some mental / feedback exercises – helped me as much as Tylenol 2 for back pain. Don’t want to bore everyone with details – reply to post if you want details (the email address does not work).

Life screws you either way. I didn’t have a beer until I was 24? Didn’t get properly laid until I was 23. Never smoked (didn’t even eat edible pot until I was about 27).

I’ve never willingly done any harder drugs (someone laced some cookies once like an asshole, though, and that was not a fun night.) I’ve never gone into debt (except to buy a car like a responsible adult… at age 27)… I’ve never gambled away my savings, or done anything crazy…

And then one day I said fuck it, and started doing stupid shit. Some of it worked out, some of it didn’t, but a lot of the best memories I have are from me simply saying “fuck it” and doing something stupid. Some of the worst memories come from the same exact thing, though. It’s not that life is easier, or nicer, if you are careful. Just less stuff happens to you, good or bad.

And like I said, life screws you either way in the end. Might as well have one night naked in the back of a pickup truck staring at the stars with someone. Or a few of those nights, come to think of it…

A radical Dreamers reference? That’s rare. That being said I didn’t really like the game.

A good source of names: your spam folder.

Someone has already spend the time thinking of names to fool you into thinking those messages are from real people. Why not use some of them?

The Discord server is a complete failure for me because it opens with a welcome page that is wider than my screen width and they take away the horizontal scroll bar. Why do designers do that?

Someone else just working through Minecraft for the first time?

I’ve done some preliminary worlds, and have settled in on one. I use a creative world to experiment with build ideas. 1.7.10. I’ve got a quart-decent wheat setup. My cows are good. I’ve got about 40 librarians & priests–hoping for some good enchantments. My chickenapocalypse & the wheat keeps me in emeralds, so I don’t have much use for my diamonds. I’ve done a lot of work to figure out the iron farm I want, and am about to start creating the villages. I’ve got a quarter of a gold farm–basically, that’s to keep the villages cool by the feathers…

I like this comic. Jackie, you did a nice job. The art work depicts exactly what I want to do when the christmas downturn and I get a few days off from work.

Not surprised to sadly see no comments on Dune the book..
I had same experience, found it very boring and trashed it after a few hundred pages. I doubt it will be different now. It reads like a mix between a religeous treaty and a documentary.

Long time fan :-)

Very human characters. Friends from a walk of life I’ve never walked!

re. Your shakes.. Get a neuro workup. Hopefully it’s tension, maybe nutrtion. Tiny chance it’s neuro – maybe issue with the amygdala. Sometime, maybe eliminate that tiny chance?

Try this, it’s cheaper:

It’s not a drug, it’s a mineral.

Looking to play SNES classic SimCity? You own a copy of the game already, but may be suffering from a dead cartridge battery? While you may have some ethics concerns, you can play using a browser SNES emulator, like here: http://www.snesfun.com/play/sim-city/1042#

99.99% of people completely ignore this advice or worse, so I’m not sure why I keep trying. But I think I hit on something big, and you could probably use it. Health problems mostly have parasites as underlying cause. There are way too many in the US, nobody talks about it. Just look up history of hookworms here as an example.

This is my favorite webcomics. The Amy Schumer could learn a lot from your characters.
