Jolene Brooks
I really aught to make a bio page for the characters sometime. Like, old G.I. Joe stlye character files. Those things gave you everything you needed to know how your Joe would act in combat situations. I could do away with this “find out about the cast through the narrative” crap.
CODENAME: Brooksie
Real Name: Jolene Brooks
At 20 years old, Jolene “Brooksie” Brooks is the youngest member of Blackwell’s rangers. Her specialities include movie trivia, alphabetization, stealth, and demolitions. Though nervous in new situations, and around strangers, Jolene is actually talkative and endearing once she feels safe. Of course, if confronted by a person with authority over her she will tend to cower. This tendancy causes her to avoid making waves in fear of being noticed. Her knowledge of film is encyclopedic. She knows at least one line from thousands of films and knows hundreds of them line for line. Jolene is capable of moving almost without sound, and can remain motionless for long periods of time. Thse skills come in quite handy, as she is a bit of a snoop. Even in situations where she could obtain information through regular channels Jolene prefers to use stealth. Mostly because it is more fun, and ads an element of excitement to her otherwise mundane job. Customers find her to be helpful, though she interacts with them as little as possible. If cornered by a particularly pushy, or overbearing, customer she has been known to call on others to help. Since she and John are both smokers the two of them know the most about each other, but she tends to seek Thomas when she needs advice, or has a problem. Although Jolene is mostly afraid of Carol, Carol actually likes Jolene because she follows her orders, and never forgets anything she’s told to do.

She’s me! Up to “These skills come in quite handy, as she is a bit of a snoop.” She’s me! I’m a bit more brave, but still… Woah… She’s me!
